Bears / Panthers

  • This was an ugly game of football in the standalone slot on TNF in which there was just one offensive TD scored, but CHI did enough to win the game, outgaining CAR 295-213, finishing 1-2 on RZ trips and turning the ball over 0 times. CHI rushed for 133 yards on 37 carries against a 27th ranked CAR run defense that’s allowing 135 rushing YPG in 2023, while Bryce Young struggled once again, finishing 21-38 for 185 yards (4.9 YPA) against a CHI defense that entered Week 10 ranking 25th in passing YPG allowed. CHI’s 4th ranked rushing defense held CAR to 43 yards total on the ground, 18 of which came on Bryce Young scrambles. CAR is 1-8 ATS and SU in 2023 with a very troubling matchup against DAL at home in Week 11 where they are 10.5-point underdogs; CHI heads to DET as a 9.5-point underdog in a game where Justin Fields may return to action.

Patriots / Colts

  • Another international NFL UNDER gets home as the Colts defeated the Patriots 10-6 in Frankfurt, despite being outgained by NE 264-340; Mac Jones was sacked 5 times, finishing with just 170 yards and an INT on 15-20 passing before being benched again in favor of Bailey Zappe. NE finished with 167 yards rushing but finished 0-4 on RZ trips. IND posted a TD on their first possession of the game but did not score another point until they knocked a FG through with 8:54 remaining in the 4th quarter to take a 10-6 lead; Jonathan Taylor took 23 carries for 69 yards, while Zack Moss got just 1 carry in this game, which puts this RB platoon into question moving forward with Taylor looking fully healthy. Both teams head into the bye, while NE drops to 2-8 SU and ATS on the season.

Bengals / Texans

  • HOU made a statement on the road in Cincy, outgaining Bengals 544-380 as Stroud continues extremely impressive rookie season, finishing 23-39 for 356 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT; HOU ran for 188 yards in total on Cincy’s 29th ranked rushing defense, led by Devin Singletary (30 carries, 150 yards, 1 TD), while Noah Brown caught 7 balls for 172 yards on 8 targets. HOU finished 3-5 on RZ trips and still managed to win outright despite 3 TO’s. HOU entered Week 10 ranked 10th in Net YPP and improved to 5-2 ATS in L7 games. Burrow finished 27-40 for 347 passing yards and 2 TD’s, but threw two INT’s in 4th quarter; CIN tied game with 1:33 remaining, but Stroud led another GW drive that ended with a 38-yard field goal to lift HOU to 5-4 on the season; HOU is a 4-point favorite at home vs ARI in Week 11, while CIN is 4-1 ATS in L5 and heads to BAL as a 4-point underdog on TNF in critical AFC North showdown.

Vikings / Saints

  • Josh Dobbs improves to 2-0 as MIN starter after being traded just two weeks ago at deadline; MIN outgained NO 388 – 280 (5.7 – 4.6 in YPP) and posted points on four of five 1H possessions to take a 24-3 lead into halftime; NO worked its way back to 27-19, but two Jameis Winston INT’s sank their comeback attempt after Derek Carr was knocked out of the game with a shoulder injury and concussion in 3rd quarter. Dobbs finished 23-34 for 268 yards and 1 TD and found TJ Hockenson for 11 catches, 134 yards and 1 TD on 15 targets. MIN ranked 6th in Net YPP heading into Week 10 but hamstrung themselves with TO’s early in season, should be considered a live contender heading into stretch run, finishing 5-0 ATS in L5 and 6-1 ATS in L7, heading to DEN as 2-point underdogs; NO is 1-4 ATS in L5 heading into bye as offensive struggles persist.

Steelers / Packers

  • PIT once again outgained by opponent in a game where they win outright, outgained by GB 399 – 324 but finishing 2-3 in RZ trips and holding GB to 1-5 in their RZ trips. PIT picked Jordan Love on GB’s final two possessions to hold onto 23-19 lead and escape with a win. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren combined for 183 yards rushing, 2 TD’s on 31 total carries vs GB’s 26th ranked rushing defense, while Kenny Pickett finished just 14-23 for 126 yards but 0 TO’s. PIT is 7-2 to the UNDER in 2023, but 4-1 ATS and SU in L5, heading to CLE as a 4-point underdog in Week 11; GB is 4-1 to UNDER in L5 and 1-5 ATS in L6, hosting LAC as 3-point home dogs.

Both teams combine for 0-4 on RZ trips, while TEN rushed for just 42 yards on 16 carries vs TB’s 5th ranked rushing defense. TB is 7-2 to UNDER in 2023 but 3-0 ATS in L3 games, heading to SF as an 11.5-point underdog. TEN is 7-2 to UNDER in 2023 and heads to JAX as a 7-point underdog.

Jags / 49ers

  • SF throttle bodied JAX off their bye, outgaining Jags 437 – 221 (7.3 – 4.1 in YPP) despite finishing just 1-4 in RZ and 4-12 on 3rd down; JAX turned ball over 4 times – Lawrence threw two 2H INT’s. JAX had 23 yards of total offense on first four drives before a 14-play, 80-yard drive ended with a FG on their final possession of 1H; proceeded to turn ball over in first 3 drives of 2H and went down 34-3 early in 4Q. SF sacked Lawrence 5X in Chase Young’s debut with 49ers and held JAX to 59 yards total rushing, while Purdy finished 19-26 for 296 yards, 3 TD’s vs bad JAX secondary; SF is 4-2 to OVER in their L6 and will host TB as 11.5-point favorites in Week 11; JAX falls to 6-2, snapping 5-game winning streak and is a 6.5-point favorite at home vs TEN in Week 11.

CLE overcame a 14-point deficit in 4th quarter, fueled by a Greg Newsome pick-6 with 8:16 left in 4th quarter, stringing together a drive on the final drive of the game to kick a 40-yard GW FG as time expired to take outright win and improve to 6-3; CLE is 4-1 to OVER in L5 and is a 4-point favorite at home vs PIT in Week 11; BAL is a 3.5-point favorite at home on TNF vs CIN.
